Spray operative (Soft fruit/Combinable crop production)
A responsible and safety-focused Spray Operative responsible for the safe preparation, application, and recording of crop protection products across soft fruit production areas. The role ensures compliance with UK pesticide regulations, farm assurance standards, and internal Health & Safety procedures while maintaining crop health and environmental protection.
Soft fruit quality controller & line leader
Inspecting UK produced soft fruit, to meet customer specifications, legislative and traceability requirements.
Assessing and monitoring the soft fruit to meet the expectations of the multiple with a final grade. Heavily involved in the production and quality processes of the packhouse working with a team of at least 10 packhouse operatives per production line.
Irrigation operative
A practical self-motivated individual who likes working outdoors in good or poor weather, with a keen interest in plant growth and its vigour.
Feeding daily and monitoring the plants health to produce the grams per varietal expected grams of the plant. Utilising the irrigation equipment and systems used. Maintaining the irrigation machinery and any equipment associated to irrigation.
